CD/DVD Player Error Codes

Problem Cause Measure

ERROR 2 A CD is caught inside the deck

and is not ejected

This is a failure of the CD mecha-

nism - consult your place of pur-

chase

ERROR 3 A CD can not be played due to

scratches, etc.

Replace with a non-scratched,

non-warped disc.

ERROR 6 A CD is loaded upside down or

can not be read

Eject the disc and insert it properly

or consult your store of purchase

DVD Changer Error Codes

MECHA ERROR The failure of the changer mecha-

nism

Consult your store of purchase

DISC ERROR 6 A DVD/CD Can not be played due

to scratches

A DVD/CD can not be played due

to a defect laser pickup

The disc is loaded upside-down

Replace with a non-scratched,

non warped disc

WRONG REGION / ERROR R The Disc Region is incorrect Use a disc with the correct region

code

PARENTAL VIOLATION

Viewing is limited Release the viewing limitation by

changing the parental level.

FM Modulator (FMC250) Error Codes

HHHH The temperature inside the CD

Changer has increased beyond a

preset level

Turn off the unit and let it cool off.

ERROR 2 A problem with the CD changer

mechanism has occurred

The changer mechanism may be
