3. CONTROLS
Note:
The control panel can be detached to prevent theft. For details, see the pages of “DCP (Detachable Control
Panel)” (page 18).
Functions of Buttons
Note:
Be sure to read this section while referring to the front diagram.
Sensor
Receiver for the remote control unit (operating
range: 30° in all directions).
[o] (EJECT) button
Use this button to eject the disc set in this unit.
[VOL –], [VOL +] buttons
Use these buttons to increase/decrease the
volume.
[SRC] button
When the liquid crystal panel is closed, press
this button to change to the next source mode
such as TUNER mode.
When the liquid crystal panel is open, press
this button to display the Source screen to
switch the source mode.
Keep pressing this button more than 1 second
to turn off the audio feature (AUDIO OFF).
Press this button to turn on the audio feature.
[R], [F] buttons
Use these buttons to change to the previous/
next preset station in the TUNER and XM
modes.
In the DVD Video mode, use these buttons to
select a chapter to be played.
Keep pressing a button during playback
performs the fast backward or fast forward
playback.
Keep pressing the [F] button during pausing
performs the slow playback.
In the CDDA, MP3/WMA/AAC/DivX, and iPod/
USB Memory/Bluetooth (Audio) modes, use
these buttons to select a track to be played.
Keep pressing a button during playback
performs the fast backward or fast forward
playback.
[MENU] button

Press this button to display the Menu screen.
You can change the system settings from this
screen.
[MAP] button

Pressing this button in the audio/visual modes
changes to the Navigation mode.
