“It’s probably going to be

a very long night because

we haven’t had this many

contestants before,” admit-

ted Booth. “But it’s defi-

nitely going to be worth

the money you pay for your

ticket.”

Contestants will sing for

a chance to win cash prizes

sponsored by local indi-

viduals and businesses.

Booth noted “Quest” has

more sponsors participat-

ing than ever this year, add-

ing that new prizes, such as

fourth place for “Quest,”

will be up for grabs.

The main event spon-

sors for “Quest” are the

FFCBC and B93•FM while

Sears Canada is the pri-

mary sponsor for “Kiddie

Quest.”

“The Faculty,” comprised

of Rob Donaldson, Chris

Denby, Steve Denby, and

Jim Newman, once again

will be the back-up band.

They have spent the past

month learning the myriad

of songs for the 30-plus

contestants.

Tickets for “Quest” are

available at the Chamber

of Commerce office (474

Scott St.) for $13, They also

will be sold at the door

the evening of the event

(if there’s any left) for $15

each.

More than 2,000 tickets

have been printed for the

perenially sold-out singing

contest. “Quest” will start

at 6 p.m., with doors open-

ing about 5 p.m.
